Highlighting the characters and the state of mind of the game always from the angle of humor, this new trailer also reveals a change of distribution already very controversial among fans. Voiced by Lo Wang in the previous two games, Jason Liebrecht was replaced by Mike Moh (Bruce Lee in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) in an apparent desire to appeal to an actor of Asian descent.

Like the characters they embody in the video, Mike Moh is accompanied by Andromeda Dunker and SungWon Cho in the roles of Motoko and Orochi Zilla, respectively superpowered witch and former antagonist turned sidekick. An unlikely trio whose mission littered with demon corpses will be to capture an ancient dragon inadvertently freed from its eternal prison. Hoji’s Mask, a legacy of Lo Wang’s late friend, also plays a central role in the quest.
While waiting to see what Motoko and her tanuki guardian spirit will bring to the concept, the game is still betting on gameplay that combines a military arsenal and the sharpness of Lo Wang’s katana, to which are added magic powers, wall runs and the new grapple that will make it easier to gain height. Note that pre-orders of Shadow Warrior 3 on consoles include access to both 2013 and 2016 installments.
