Shannen Doherty felt ‘betrayed’
In full transparency, Shannen Doherty confided that she learned of her third husband’s adultery before having a brain tumor removed. “I went for surgery early in the morning and went after finding out that my marriage was basically over and my husband had been having an affair for two years,” she declared, before adding: “He wanted to come with me, but I didn’t want to have surgery with him there. I felt so betrayed. […] I felt incredibly unloved by someone I was with for 14 years, by someone I loved with all my heart.”. So, the actress revealed in The Little House On The Prairie at the age of 11 would have found support and comfort from his mother, brother and friends. In shock, the actress wanted to discover the truth and was able to talk with the young woman with whom her husband cheated on her for two years. “I take responsibility not only for the way I was, but also the impact of cancer on my marriage and the impact it had on it the second time around”, she clarified. Since then, Shannen Doherty has been single.
