A story that shivers down your spine. It must be said that Sasha Godwin, a 35-year-old Briton, is definitely not lucky in love. This mother of three, who decided to leave her husband because she found he was in too much control of him. Delighted to be able to rebuild her life, Sasha decided to get into a relationship some time later with a man she already knew by sight: her neighbor’s best friend. This is how in 2014, the two lovebirds formalized their relationship.
As these two had the perfect love affair, the mother began to doubt the true face of her mate, Nathan Bourke. After a few months, the latter became more and more intrusive, until Sasha Godwin decided to end this relationship which had become toxic. Since then… everything got out of hand. For a year, her ex-boyfriend did not stop terrorizing her, going so far as to break into her home in the middle of the night to take pictures of her ex sleeping …
“All I want is for him to leave me alone”
And this behavior was far from being a passing fancy. Nathan Bourke followed her down the street, called her over 100 times a day and even threatened her with death on Christmas Day. Logically, the thirty-something told her story to the police. Faced with the gravity of the facts, the man was sentenced to three years in prison for aggravated harassment … before being released after only six months spent behind bars. “I lived in fear every day and had to uproot my life and the lives of my children to escape him. Now he’s out again and it’s terrifying. All I want is Nathan. leave me alone and that I have a quiet life with my children “, said the victim, completely devastated by this court decision.
