Showroomprivé finalizes the acquisition of THE BRADERY

(Boursier.com) — Showroomprivé (SRP Groupe), a European group specializing in smart shopping, announces today that it has finalized the acquisition of The Bradery, a very fast-growing player in premium event sales mainly aimed at millennials.
Showroomprivé completed the acquisition of a majority stake of 51% in The Bradery, with the possibility of acquiring the remaining 49% by 2026.
This acquisition enables the Group to consolidate its strategy as a key player in smart shopping by bringing together platforms with complementary positioning: Showroomprivé.com for the generalist aspect, Beauté Privée for the very promising beauty vertical, and The Bradery for the booming vertical of premium and young fashion.

With a community that already brings together more than 200,000 regular buyers and more than 400 partner brands, The Bradery is one of the latest players in online event sales. With a very strong positioning in the youth and premium markets, The Bradery is one of the most dynamic players in the sector. Since its launch 3 years ago, The Bradery has already reached almost 30 MEUR of GMV1. Present in France, the company has initiated a first expansion in Spain and Belgium.

The founders Edouard Caraco and Timothée Linyer, and their teams, will continue to ensure the growth momentum of the platform as well as the management of the company. The objective being to double the volume of sales in 3 years, the transaction should be accretive by 2024. The Bradery will continue to develop under its own brand and be managed by the entire current team.

KPMG performed the financial due diligence and T&A Associés acted as legal counsel to Showroomprivé. Cambon Partners acted as financial advisor and White & Case acted as legal advisor to The Bradery shareholders.
