(CercleFinance.com) – Siemens Gamesa announces today that it has received a new order in India from Ayana Renewable Power Six Private Limited for the supply of 84 SG 3.6-145 wind turbines as part of a 302 project. MW in Gadag district, Karnataka state.
‘This order is helping us tremendously as we prepare for the next phase of growth for Siemens Gamesa in India. With the SG 3.6-145, a turbine designed for India, we are confident that we are delivering better value to our customers, ‘said Navin Dewaji, General Manager of Siemens Gamesa India.
With this additional 302 MW agreement, the total order intake for the Siemens Gamesa 3.X platform in India amounts to 925 MW. The turbines for this project will be supplied by manufacturing plants in India and the project is expected to be commissioned in 2023.
