Silence instead of congratulations
Royals do not wish Meghan a happy birthday

There were congratulations on Duchess Meghan’s last birthday, but the royals have not yet announced their 42nd birthday.
No sign of congratulations: Neither Prince Harry’s (38) brother, Prince William (41), nor his father, King Charles III. (74), have Harry’s wife Meghan has so far publicly congratulated on her birthday – which once again shows the broken relationship with the royal family.
Duchess Meghan turned 42 on August 4th. So far, congratulations to the sister-in-law and daughter-in-law have not been found on the official Twitter and Instagram accounts of the Royal Family and the Prince and Princess of Wales. That should continue to fuel the rumor mill about the relationship that appears supercooled.
Instead of congratulating Meghan, William and his wife, Princess Kate (41), expressed their congratulations to the team behind the film “Rhino Man” on August 4. The documentary covers the fight against rhino poaching in South Africa and is in the running for a Jackson Wild Media Award. “Congratulations to the ‘Rhino Man’ team!”, it says in a tweet. It’s important to tell this story and it’s great to see the creators getting credit for it.
What happened between Harry and his brother?
Harry and Meghan, who said goodbye to their royal life in 2020 and moved to the United States, are said to not have a particularly good relationship with William and Charles. At least since the Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan” and Harry’s autobiography “Reserve”, the rift seems to have grown in recent months. The Sussexes had made serious allegations against the royals in it – and also in several interviews. Harry himself spoke, among other things, of a wedge that had been driven between him and his brother.
William and Kate congratulated their sister-in-law on their 41st birthday last year in an Instagram story. Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla (76), joined shortly thereafter. It is currently not known whether the royals congratulated Meghan privately this year.
