In 2023, the franchise silent Hill will finally make a comeback. Konami unveiled several titles during a presentation last October, with a remake of Silent Hill 2 by Bloober Team, Silent Hill: Townfall by Code No., Silent Hill f by NeoBards Entertainmentthe interactive and community series Silent Hill: Ascent and the movie Return to Silent Hill directed by Christophe Gans, based on Silent Hill 2.
Before this presentation, the rumors were rife and we had heard in particular about Silent Hill: The Short Messagean intriguing title listed in South Korea, and which has not been formalized by Konami. But now the game is talking about him again this week, it has just been listed by the video game classification body in Taiwan, on PlayStation 5 uniquely.
No other information has been revealed, so we are not further advanced, but there’s still a good chance it won’t be a real new game, more of a playable teaser like PT for the canceled Silent Hills, aiming to introduce a title unveiled in October. As a reminder, Silent Hill 2 Remake will be temporarily exclusive to consoles on PS5, this Silent Hill: The Short Message could get us in the mood before the game’s release Bloober Team. But while waiting for an official confirmation from Konamiwe can only speculate.
