EA and Maxis are constantly releasing content for their players; whether paid or free. Since 2014, The Sims 4 game has been getting new features that will tempt fans to heat up the blue card. As we said, there are free updates, with some new features, but most of the gameplay is not too surprisingly in game packs or extensions.

How much do I have to put in to get The Sims 4 in full?
By focusing on the playable content (therefore omitting to add the kits of objects or outfits which are very secondary), you have 24 additional contents on The Sims 4. Knowing that a game pack costs its price €19.99 and an extension, still at its maximum price, is €39.99, you don’t have to be a mathematician to understand that the note will be very high.
Indeed, if you wish to obtain the 12 extensions (including high school year), you will have to pay no less than €479.88. As for the game packs which are also 12 in number, you will have to spend €239.88. In total, to have access to the full gameplay of The Sims 4, you will have to spend €719.76, quite a large sum! Especially since the amount can very quickly go up with all the item kits which are at €4.99/unit.
EA and Maxis do not seem to want to stop in such a good way, because there is only to see the very recent release of the game pack “Werewolf” as well as the next extension “High school years”. The Sims 4 continues to offer paid content to its players, but fortunately we are not obliged to buy all the game packs / expansions, unless features make you really want (and that’s very often the case, because we must admit that the majority of expansions are intended to be brand new experiences for our Sims).
If you ever like game packs and expansions, tell yourself that you will have to spend approximately 100€ per year (figure based on the annual rate of release of additional content from The Sims 4), which is not nothing in hindsight. However, it is possible to obtain these extensions at much cheaper prices during promotions or from online retailers, which will reassure players.
