Ski Flying World Championships on Kulm – Kranker Kraft on Kulm second after first jump

Timi Zajc took the lead at the Ski Flying World Championships on the Kulm. After the first round on Friday, the Slovenian leads ahead of Salzburg’s Stefan Kraft and his compatriot Lovro Kos.

Manuel Fettner, who was able to avoid a fall with a lot of routine and ultimately only ended up in 35th place, was eliminated after the first round. The Tyrolean: “I put everything on one card, but unfortunately I pushed too hard. That wasn’t a good feeling. That just hurts, that was definitely too impetuous. But it’s all about medals.” Kraft managed it better: “I’m super happy. We analyzed the training carefully and did a nasal shower, ate well and attacked again. That paid off.”
