Ski jumping – strength in Klingenthal qualification 8. ++ Kobayashi best

On Friday evening, Stefan Kraft achieved the best ÖSV placement in qualification for the Ski Jumping World Cup in Klingenthal in eighth place! After a 127 m flight, the world champion was 10.0 points behind the best of the day, the Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi.

The ex-World Cup winner landed at 133 meters and, thanks to a lead of 0.5 points over World Cup leader Karl Geiger (GER / 131 m), received a check for 3000 francs (2870 euros). Daniel Huber came in tenth ( 126.5 m), Wisla winner Jan Hörl, on the other hand, did not get along optimally with the Vogtland hill and had to be content with 36th place (119 m). The Salzburg resident was only sixth in the ÖSV team, which is represented by all seven athletes in the Saturday competition (4 p.m. / live ORF 1). Season winner Anze Lanisek (SLO), who was only 40th (116.5 m), fared no better.
