Sky du Mont (76) has been married four times. Since last year he has been happy with a new woman at his side. In Barbara Schöneberger’s (49) Podcast “With a woman’s waffles”, the long-time actor now talks about his past marriages, among other things – and also about the financial aspect.

Sky du Mont not richer in experience or money

“I got married, that was my main job,” explains du Mont. “It’s a miracle that I got through it financially, isn’t it?” he judges himself. Yes, it’s “a miracle that I managed it. I sometimes ask myself … if I had all that, the money.”

In 1972, the actor married his colleague Helga Lehner (79) in his first marriage. 1992 saw his second marriage to the French actress Diane Stolojan (65), with whom he has a son. After the divorce, another marriage to an actress, Cosima von Borsody (57), was scheduled in 1995. In 2000 he married Mirja du Mont (47). The two actors have two children and announced their split in 2016. His many marriages have “not made him wealthier either in terms of experience or financially,” says du Mont.

That’s how he met his current girlfriend

In September 2022, du Mont confirmed that he was in a relationship with the journalist and ORF presenter Julia Schütze. In the podcast, the star explains how they met.

Schütze, with whom he has been together for about a year, interviewed him shortly after his separation from Mirja du Mont: “I was somehow 21 kilos lighter and wasn’t really focused.” After a second interview, he suggested getting on the plane and visiting her.

The first private meeting, where she “rushed him around the lake twice”, went so well that he has been going to her weekly since then. At first she didn’t want to form a bond – especially “not with a German actor who has been divorced four times”.
