Slimane: long complexed, he reveals his beauty tips: “I suffered from psoriasis”

Coach of the 9th season of The Voice Kids, broadcast every Tuesday on TF1, Slimane also launched her own beauty brand Cousin.es. A range of hair care products specially designed for dry, curly hair and sensitive scalps. Indeed, the singer has suffered from psoriasis since childhood and has sought to develop products inspired by the care rituals that his mother used to do for him.

“When I was little, my mother used to massage my scalp with Nigella oil (…) I created my formula by adding Castor oil and Aloe Vera. Quickly, I realized that my psoriasis was getting better, that my hair was more beautiful, shinier, my curls more supple, more defined.” explains the singer. In an interview, he reveals his tips for taking care of your hair, that he finally fully assumes!

Singer Slimane’s advice for beautiful hair

• Cut them regularly : “You have to choose a good hairdresser, who knows the nature of your hair and who knows how to take care of it”.
• Use natural and clean products : “I always recommend using formulas that respect the scalp and the hair”
• Do not “suffocate” your scalp : “People thought for a long time that I had no hair under my hat at the start of my career! It’s not very good for the scalp to have the hair too long under a hat, I advise not to wear it too often”.
