Smart Bison plans a Black Saturday in the direction of departures

Traffic will be dense from Friday August 3 in the direction of departures as a prelude to the first weekend of the month, whose Saturday is classified as black by Bison futé. For this weekend which corresponds to the crossover between holidaymakers in July and those in August, “the movements will be distributed between Friday August 4 and Monday August 7 inclusive”predicts Clever Bison on its website.

From Friday, classified red in the direction of departures, the expected traffic is dense “and very often very difficult on the whole territory”. Bison futé places Ile-de-France in particular in tension, towards the toll gates of the A10 and A6 motorways, as well as the A7, A31 and A63 motorways throughout the day. It also foresees difficulties in the Mont-Blanc tunnel for access to Italy by the N205 between the beginning and the end of the afternoon, as well as in the direction of returns (Italy-France).

Saturday should be “the most difficult day of the summer on all the main roads in the country”. “In the continuity of Friday, traffic will remain heavy all night, especially on the A7 motorway between Lyon and Orange. The difficulties will extend until the end of the day. »

The A9, A10, A61, A71 and A75 motorways will also be very busy. Bison smart foresees difficulties in the Lyon-Chambéry direction between the end of the morning and the beginning of the afternoon, and in the Mont-Blanc tunnel towards Italy. In the return direction, the tunnel will also be busy at the end of the afternoon. Difficulties are also expected on the A75 between Montpellier and Clermont-Ferrand early in the morning. For the returns, the difficulties will mainly focus on the day of Saturday, classified orange.
