Smart control of Christmas lights: WLAN sockets on offer at Lidl

There are currently many good Christmas offers in the Lidl online shop, including some in the Smart Home area. Among other things, three controllable WLAN sockets are available at a reasonable discounter price. For example, they are now available at Christmas time to conveniently control fairy lights and the like.

The adapter plugs communicate via the Zigbee 3.0 standard and thus enable voice control via Google Assistant, and thanks to the radio standard, other systems such as Philips Hue or HomeKit can also be combined with the Lidl products.

Lidl offers its own app for the smart home system, which you can also use to control it. If you are not using any Smart Home products yet: If you want to use the adapters by voice or app, you need a gateway, for example the Lidl gateway from Silvercrest.
