SMCP: targets lowered for 2023

(CercleFinance.com) – SMCP (Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot) now indicates that it expects an annual performance slightly weaker than announced, its sales in the fourth quarter having remained stable at constant rates, in a macroeconomic context which has continued to deteriorate .

It now anticipates a turnover of around 1.23 billion euros for 2023, i.e. growth at constant rates of +3.8% (and no longer ‘mid-single digit’ growth), and a margin of adjusted EBIT between 6.4 and 6.6% of turnover (and no longer 7 to 9%).

At the same time, the group specializing in accessible luxury accelerated its savings plan in the last quarter of 2023 and continued to make its financial strength a priority, notably with a reduction in its net debt at the end of December 2023.
