For a year, beef ruled between Snoop Dogg and Eminem. An apology and a conversation about respect changed that.

Snoop Dogg (50) and Eminem (49) have spoken out and settled their dispute.

On the radio show “The Breakfast Club” explained Snoop, “Man, I love Eminem. The thing is, we love hip-hop so much that we compete.” Accordingly, he had even apologized to the “8 Mile” star.

What happened? Last year Snoop Dogg said he didn’t think Eminem was one of the top ten rappers of all time. Afterwards, Eminem called Snoop Dogg in his song “Zeus” as a “dog”, whereupon the Doggfather threatened again that Em should pray that he would not respond with a disstrack.

“I’m not perfect, I’m Snoop Dogg”

Now the 50-year-old explained how the two have overcome this feud: “I apologized to him. I let him know and I got better. I made mistakes. I’m not perfect, I’m Snoop Dogg.”

Apparently the two have learned from it and changed the way they deal with each other: “We had a long conversation about the respect we have for one another and about the way we talk about one another in public.”

In the Super Bowl halftime show next year, they will even join Dr. Dre (56), Mary J. Blige (50) and Kendrick Lamar (34) stand on a stage.
