When you see pearl jewelry, you immediately think of fashion icons like Audrey Hepburn or Coco Chanel. At that time, they were mainly used for classic going-out looks and elegant costumes. Today there are hardly any limits – pearl necklaces are even combined with casual sports outfits, even for men. For some, that might take some getting used to. Influencer and “The Lion’s Den” guest lion Diana zur Löwen (28) recently presented a modern look in classic Chanel style on Instagram. A tweed jacket with a collar and elegant buttons, black suit trousers, a black handbag and a headband harmonized perfectly with the long pearl hanging earrings.
For special occasions
Actress Salma Hayek (56) recently relied on the popular pearl trend. At the Met Gala in May 2023 she slipped into a bright red, strapless corsage dress with a tulle skirt. Her off-shoulder white pearl straps were an added highlight, as were the XXL pearl earrings. The accessories came into their own with the 56-year-old thanks to the sleek ponytail.
For the summer look
There was a cool summer look on the Instagram channel to copy from actress Zoey Deutch (28). For the plaid bustier, she wore golden hoop earrings with pearl pendants and narrow vintage sunglasses in black. Her hair is gathered in a deep bun.
