Solidarity at the source, the major social measure of the Macron project


The president promises to automate the payment of social aid to fight against non-recourse and fraud.

The candidate’s entourage presents her as “the great social measure of his program”. If he is re-elected on April 24, Emmanuel Macron wants to set up “solidarity at the source”, a system which would allow all people whose situation justifies the payment of social benefits to receive them automatically.

“We are going to clarify the system so that it is more readable for everyone. We are going to fight against this injustice that is the “non-recourse”: people who are entitled to aid but who do not ask for it”, justified the Head of State during the presentation of his program on March 17.

No more resources

On paper, the proposal has something to appeal to associations fighting against precariousness. More in any case than that of Marine Le Pen who intends, on the contrary, to reduce access to certain social benefits to the French and “foreigners who have worked full-time for at least five years”.
