“Something is different” with the iPhone 15: Spigen tweet causes excitement

IPHONE 15 (PRO): RELEASE, TECHNOLOGY, PRICE – THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE NEW IPHONE

Shortly before the iPhone 15 presentation, a tweet from Spigen caused a stir online. With the words “something is different,” the protective cover manufacturer is unveiling a major innovation in advance.

In a few hours Apple will unveil the iPhone 15. There are many rumors surrounding this. One of them is that the Cupertino manufacturer will replace the mute switch with a new button called the action button. This can now be seen as confirmed. Because protective case manufacturer Spigen published on X (formerly Twitter) a picture of a case for the upcoming iPhone.

The photo shows the side of the case in detail. Here we see bulges for the volume buttons and above, where the mute switch used to be, a bulge for another button.

Action button instead of mute switch

The tweet has already been viewed over a million times in the last few hours and has garnered countless comments. Some fans are shocked that the protective case manufacturer is anticipating this innovation and believe that Apple will sue Spigen.

However, Spigen is not the only protective case manufacturer to show corresponding cases before the iPhone 15 presentation. Cases confirming the end of the mute switch could also be seen at the IFA. It remains unclear whether the cases were created based on internet rumors or whether Apple provides the accessories industry with information about new products in advance.

We won’t find out whether the mute switch is really history until tonight at the Apple event. By the way, you can follow the iPhone 15 launch in the live stream.
