Netflix has finally released the release date of Sonic Primethe new animated series dedicated to the famous blue hedgehog.
And he clearly won’t be alone.
Sonic Prime succumb to the multiverse
In February 2021, in full expansion of its catalog with a lot of video game licenses, Netflix announced the upcoming arrival of Sonic Prime. Today, the animated series finally has a release date: December 15th. For the occasion, posters and a new teaser are out.
This indicates two things. The first is that Sonic will not be alone in this new adventure: Knuckles, Tails, Rouge, Shadow and many others will be there. But in alternate versions. Indeed, following a fight with Eggman, Sonic finds himself propelled into a parallel world. What potentially propose a new plot.
The first season of Sonic Prime will consist of 24 episodes. Something to keep fans of Sega’s hero busy, especially since the game sonic frontier arrives for its part on November 8th.
