Fans of Sonic have been spoiled for quite a while by SEGA with numerous projects to keep the license alive. For this end of the year, the publisher will therefore offer a final scripted update for Sonic Frontiersexpected within a few days, and a new episode like platformer 2D with a gameplay more classic, 3D characters and settings, Sonic Superstars. The publisher had dated it when gamescom Opening Night Live 2023 with a video focused on the multiplayer features, since it will notably be playable with four players in cooperation. He had previously offered a very nice animated introductory cinematic and fans of this type of project will therefore be delighted by today’s video.
This is’a silent animated prologue titled Trio of Troublewhere we obviously find from the first moments Sonic, Tails, Knuckles And Amy Rose in ruins facing Fang who stole a Chaos Emerald. Following the tough confrontation, the latter wakes up from a bad dream, since all of this was apparently not real or an old memory. Fangthe new new character of this episode called Trip And Eggman then experience some adventures in these same ruins, before the latter unearths what he had come to look for. To find out what it is, you will have to play Sonic Superstars !
While escorting Dr. Eggman and his hapless new assistant Trip through a dangerous ruin, Fang the Hunter must muster all his cunning to overcome the mistakes of the past and escape the rings of a fierce new enemy. Meanwhile, Eggman discovers what could be the key to his next dastardly plan.
Sonic Superstars is expected on October 17 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC (Steam And Epic Games Store). You can pre-order it on Amazon from €44.99.
