Sonic comes back to full throttle and he lets it be known. An enigmatic teaser comes to heat up the sauce for one of the biggest projects in the license.
The blue hedgehog has a great shape. After a little slump, Sonic got back on track (blue). The Sega mascot put on his sneakers and ended up taking the bull by the horns. Already, in terms of video games, he has given himself a second lease of life with Sonic Frontier. If the game was divided, it nonetheless remained a great success. We also had the right to a little return to basics with Sonic Superstars in particular. A next big game is also expected, freshly announced at the last State of Play.

But it is especially in the cinema that Sonic has shone in recent years, with two successful films, and it is clearly not over. The next big project of the license, Sonic 3 arrives and slowly begins to stir things up on the day of the thirtieth anniversary of the third game in the series. Coincidence?
In any case, we finally had the right to a first real tease. While some images have already leaked a while ago, notably revealing Shadow, the antagonist who will face the blue hedgehog and his new companions, we had nothing to sink our teeth into. Well, that’s still the case, we’re not going to lie, since we still don’t have a trailer.
But things are starting to move since the official X account has just published a first teaser for its film Sonic 3. A very brief video in which we don’t see much except the new logo of the film, representing Sonic and Shadow accompanied by a sinister sneer from Dr. Eggman, still played by Jim Carrey. The Sonic 3 film is still expected for the month of December 2024, a first date was set for the 18th, but to the extent that it is not specified in this new trailer, it could have changed along the way.
