After launching three INZONE gaming headsets (including the INZONE H7 tested on Frandroid) and two screens (including the INZONE M9 which we tested) last year, the brand is launching into the sector of wireless headphones for gaming with the INZONE Buds as well as the INZONE H5 wireless headphones, successor to the H7.

INZONE Buds, wireless gaming headphones with 360 sound

The brand is enriching its range of audio products with the INZONE Buds, its first wireless headphones optimized for video games. Sony has placed emphasis on the spatialization of sound on this new model, an important criterion for players wanting a faithful perception of sound depending on their origin and distance while playing.

The INZONE Buds can thus adapt to all ears and offer a faithful and personalized reproduction of the sound field. With the help of the INZONE Hub PC software, it will be possible to carry out an analysis of the shape of the external ear as well as the ear canal to optimize this spatialization according to each user.

Who says wireless headphones generally means noise reduction, a feature for which Sony is recognized, notably in its famous WF-1000MX5. The INZONE Buds are also inspired by the latter to offer a wide range of sound frequencies with the control unit Dynamic Driver Xto recognize among the sound chaos of each game the sounds of footsteps so decisive in games like Counter-Strike or Valorant.

The headphones promise a battery life of 12 hours (without noise reduction) and a latency of less than 30 ms thanks to the USB-C connector.

INZONE H5, the new wireless gaming headset from Sony

Sony is launching its new 2.5 GHz wireless headset promising ever more faithful spatial reproduction. Just like the INZONE Buds, we find the spatial sound already recognized on the other models in the range as well as a boom microphone with AI noise reduction, a feature also offered by the INZONE Buds. This model will replace the INZONE H7 headset which will soon disappear from the range.

In terms of autonomy, Sony announces 28 hours of interrupted play with the possibility of connecting the headset to a 3.5mm mini-jack to extend its endurance.

Note that the brand is launching a version of its high-end INZONE H9 headset in black.

The INZONE Buds will soon be available at the recommended price of 220 euros in black and white colors. The INZONE H5 wireless headset will be available at the recommended price of 150 euros. Their release date has not yet been communicated.
