Dragon Ball Sparking Zero has just received a rating from the ESRB (American game rating organization), raising hopes among players that the game is in the final stages of development and that a release date will be announced soon. But that’s not all. The most attentive fans also noticed the presence of an unlisted video on the Bandai Namco Europe YouTube account. This discovery fuels speculation about a possible imminent announcement of the launch date, possibly timed to coincide with significant dates for the DB community.
Indeed, May 9, often celebrated as Goku Day, is considered by some to be the ideal time for this announcement. Others are betting on a November release, aligned with the 40th anniversary celebrations of the DB franchise, offering a double tribute to this legendary saga and its creator, Akira Toriyama. The latter, who recently passed away at the age of 68, leaves behind a monumental legacy in the world of manga and anime, with Dragon Ball but also thanks to his significant contributions in character design for iconic games such as such as Dragon Quest, Chrono Trigger and Blue Dragon.
