WHAT IS IT ABOUT ?
Lisa decides to change her life by leaving Paris for Los Angeles. Her children have left the family nest and her famous mother, absent all her life, has just died: Lisa therefore needs a new start! There she finds her best friend Luka who has made a success of his career in the United States by setting up a famous drag queens bar, but his sentimental life is as complicated as it is abundant.
Luka makes it her mission to help Lisa relaunch her long-dead love life by creating a profile for her on a dating site. Between awkward meetings and an unexpected story with John, Lisa understands that the real meeting is with herself, if she manages to forgive the one who was her first love… her mother.

Always inspired by her personal experiences, Lisa Azuelos recounts the journey of a 50-year-old woman who, after the departure of her children, flies to the United States, to Los Angeles, in the hope of starting a new life. . “At first, it was really an American comedyshe explains in the press kit. Besides, I wrote the first draft in English. It was really a Tinder relationship comedy that I had started exploring in LA. I didn’t think I was going to talk about my childhood. Even less of my mother.”

The film is dedicated to her parents – her father, Judas Azuelos, died just before filming began. “When you have done a lot of therapy like me, you know that the bond of love is above all marked by early childhood.she continues. The care received, the love given, the love missed, the way we were touched or not, that’s what marks our relationship with others.”
Lisa Azuelos sees this project as a sequel to his trilogy consisting of LOL, A Meeting and My Baby. “This is the continuation, because it is my story that continues. And through me, that of many women.” In this American adventure, Sophie Marceau is surrounded by Djanis Bouzyani (You deserve a love), who plays her best friend, and Colin Woodell (The Originals), the man of the second chance.
