The divorce war between Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner is entering the next round.

Next round in the War of the Roses between Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas: After failed mediation, the case is due back in court.
Out-of-court attempts to end the divorce war and the battle over child custody have apparently failed. Sophie Turner (28) wants to reactivate the legal proceedings against her husband Joe Jonas (34). This is reported by the usually well-informed gossip site “TMZ”, which is said to have the relevant documents.
First things first: Joe Jonas filed for divorce in September 2023 after four years of marriage. According to the singer, his relationship with the “Game of Thrones” actress was “irretrievably broken.”
After the separation, there was a dispute about the whereabouts of their daughters Delphine (1) and Willa (3). According to US media reports, Sophie Turner is said to have accused Joe Jonas of illegally withholding her children. The American is said to have withheld his daughters’ passports so that they could not travel to their mother in her British homeland. Jones denied the allegations.
Out-of-court settlement after custody dispute
According to People, the married couple made a temporary agreement in September that their two daughters would initially stay in New York City. Jonas and Turner later released a joint statement: “Following a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving environments in the United States and the United Kingdom.”
In January 2024, the dispute seemed to be finally settled. Sophie Turner had withdrawn her lawsuit. This reported “People” magazine citing court documents, a U.S. judge approved dismissal of the lawsuit. The two stars had previously signed an agreement, which was also approved by a British judge last week. But now it’s back to court.
Both parties are now said to be in a new relationship again. Joe Jonas was seen with model Stormi Bree (33), Sophie Turner was photographed with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson (29).
