S&P puts Atos rating on watch with negative implications

(AOF) – S&P Global Ratings has placed the long-term credit rating “BB” of the digital services company Atos under review with negative implications (“CreditWatch Negative”). At the beginning of August, Atos announced the opening of exclusive discussions with EP Equity Investment, a fund mainly owned by Czech businessman Daniel Kretinsky, to sell its Tech Foundations branch, which includes its historic outsourcing services activities.

After this operation, Atos will be called Eviden, the name of its current cybersecurity branch.

According to S&P Global Ratings, following this reorganization of the group, Eviden should present “high debt”.
