Last year, after months of waiting and postponing due to COVID-19, mistermv organized the first edition of SpeedDonsa marathon of speedruns for charity. Throughout the weekend he managed to raise over €614,000 for Doctors of the World. And he’s doing it again this year.
Once again, Xavier “mistermv” Dang is organizing a 55-hour marathon dedicated to speed runor the art of finishing a game as quickly as possible. The donations collected throughout the weekend will once again go to Doctors of the Worldwith a representative who will speak live to talk about the association: the NGO is active all over the world to help the poorest and the victims of conflicts or natural disasters.
Throughout this weekend, we will be entitled to speedruns on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, dead space, Moss, Dishonored 2, Super Mario Sunshine, Beat Saber, Geoguessr, Metroid Dread, Dark Souls III, Dead Cells, Tintin in Tibet, Celestial, Super Meat Boy or The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Timeand it’s Hollow Knight who will conclude this marathon. In addition to direct donations, spectators will be able to support the cause by buying T-shirts with a visual still produced by Dzo.
