The role of Lady Di in the new film “Spencer” has long been occupied with Kristen Stewart. Now Prince Charles has finally been found.

“Spencer”, the new film about Princess Diana (1961-1997) with Kristen Stewart (30, “Personal Shopper”) in the lead role, has found its male protagonist. The part of Prince Charles (72) will be taken over by Jack Farthing (35, “The Riot Club”), reports “Entertainment Weekly”. Lady Di and the British heir to the throne were married for 15 years, from 1981 to 1996.

(Not) an easy decision?

The film is currently being shot in the UK. It focuses on a single weekend in Lady Di’s life, when she spent Christmas with the royal family at the Sandringham manor in Norfolk and made the decision to end her marriage to Prince Charles.

Other actors who will appear in the film by director Pablo Larraín (44, “Jacky”) are Timothy Spall (64, “Sweeney Todd”), Sean Harris (55, “The King”) and Sally Hawkins (44 , “Shape of Water”). The film is slated to be released this fall.
