Star Wars: Hunters delays its release to 2023

Again, a game gets pushed back a few months from release to give teams time to polish it. This time it’s about Star Wars: Hunterspostponed for the first time from 2021 to 2022, to finally arrive in 2023. If no other deadline is announced by then, we will therefore have to wait another 1 and a half years at most to be able to play it.

The PvP arena game has benefited from a few test sessions for a few months, allowing Zynga to better identify the problems. And as always in this kind of releases, the ambition of the team is not there in the current version of the title. In order to provide an experience that will last for years to come, delaying its release is the most effective solution. Thereby, Star Wars: Hunters will not see the light of day before 2023 in order to be released in the best possible condition.

A more than admirable will, especially on a game that wants to be competitive and fully multiplayer. The experience must be as perfect as possible if the game is to hope to find its place, especially in a mobile market flooded with free-to-play every day. This will also be an opportunity for the development team to ensure that its monetary system is not too intrusive.
