Of House of Cards has Star Wars

The feature film will not be Willimon’s first trip to this galaxy far, far away. The screenwriter (also known for the series House of Cards and the movies The Marches of Power And Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots) has in fact already worked on the series Star Wars: Andor. He was also nominated for an Emmy Award for the episode entitled “Only One Way.”

Announced last year during Star Wars Celebration, dawn of the jedi (working title) expected to take place 25,000 years before the histories of the universe Star Wars that we have seen in cinema and television until now. We know that the film will deal with the birth of the Jedi and the discovery of the Force, but beyond that the project remains as obscure as the soul of the Sith.

James Mangold (Le Mans 66, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny) should turn to dawn of the jedi once he is finished A Complete Unknownthe Bob Dylan biopic that he is currently filming with Timothée Chalamet in the singer’s shoes.

We do not yet know exactly when Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi will arrive in theaters, but the feature film could be one of the three films in the franchise in preparation at Lucasfilm for which Disney has already blocked a release date (two in 2026, one in 2027).

One thing is certain however, the next film Star Wars to make its entry into the dark rooms will be The Mandalorian & Groguscheduled for May 20, 2026.
