For security reasons, you cannot completely deactivate the PIN request when logging in in Windows 11 via the settings. However, there is another way – we show it here.
Actually, in most popular operating systems there is the option to start the system without entering a password. Of course, this ensures less security, but it makes it much easier to use when starting the system. An exception is Windows 11: Here you are forced to use your account password or a Windows Hello PIN to log in. But this constraint can be avoided.
In order to be able to start Windows 11 completely password-free, you must first remove your Windows Hello PIN in the settings if you have set up such a PIN. Once that’s done, you can now activate passwordless login. We’ll show you how to do this step by step below:
