A new video has been released for the Steam Deck with an error. That’s why Valve now had to remove the Nintendo Switch emulator.

  • There was a new video for the Steam Deck.
  • Apparently there was an error in this video.
  • Valve subsequently removed a switch emulator from the video footage.

There was a new video for the Steam Deck recently, in which Valve announced that you can now order the handheld without reservation and waiting time.

But apparently a mistake crept into the original video, which the company had to fix afterwards. As noted by Twitter user Nibellion, the first video featured Yuzu, an emulator for Nintendo Switch.

Shortly thereafter, Valve is said to have deleted the video and uploaded a new one that no longer shows the emulator. Even if the Steam Deck emulators can be used and thus, among other things, Switch games can be played on the Valve handheld, such a video could lead to problems with Nintendo.

By the way, there are also emulators for PS Vita and Xbox 360 for the Steam Deck. With emulators you can get games like Zelda Ocarina of Time on the Steam Deck.
