SteelSeries intends to refresh its famous line of gaming mouse ultra-light and versatile Aerox with three new models.

With the Aerox 5, Aerox 5 Wireless, and Aerox 9 Wireless, there’s something for everyone and every style of play, with great performance and aesthetics on the program.

Aerox, the gaming mouse range that breathes

Known for its particularly light design since the Aerox 3, one of SteelSeries’ flagship ranges intends to go even further here. Thus, these three new mice all offer minimal weight without cutting back on performance or customization so dear to the brand.

Everything has therefore been thought out on these new models to combine lightness and efficiency. The maxim of these new Aerox mice is: less weight equals speed and endurance. The comfort of use is therefore designed to be optimal, while providing a certain advantage in terms of responsiveness thanks to their reduced weight. This responsiveness is also ensured by the solid TrueMove Air sensor and Golden Micro IP54 switches.

True to the image of the brand, these three new models in the Aerox range feature, even on the most modest, numerous programmable buttons and three customizable PrismSync RGB zones to impress the gallery. These mice can therefore be companions of choice for both FPS and MMOs, or even strategy games.

Three models for all tastes

To get into the technical specifics of each, we first have the SteelSeries Aerox 5 wired mouse. Weighing only 66 grams and equipped with 9 programmable buttons, the “little new” is already a very solid product. Its recommended price is 89.99 euros.

Then comes its Wireless pendant, which weighs 74 grams, still with 9 programmable buttons. Powered by Quantum 2.0 Wireless technology or Bluetooth, it should provide performance as good as its wired twin. It promises up to 180 hours of battery life and 40 hours of use after a 15-minute charge. Switching to wireless will be expensive, however, with the Aerox 5 Wireless being offered at the recommended price of 149.99 euros.

Finally, we have the Aerox 9 Wireless, which weighs 89 grams and this time offers 12 programmable buttons. It is thus intended to be the most enduring and versatile of the range, and has the same autonomy as its wireless little sister. Those three extra programmable buttons and stamina won’t cost much more, with an RRP of $159.99.

These three new models in the Aerox range are available now at SteelSeries.com and at authorized retailers.
