Last week, Stefan Raab (57) announced on Instagram that he would become an influencer if he reached nine million followers within three days. After the deadline it is clear: the entertainer has missed this goal. Despite it he said in a new video on Instagram now an announcement has been made. Is this an April Fool’s joke? As in the first clip, Elton (52) visited him at an idyllic lake where Stefan Raab is currently fishing.

In the new clip, Elton explains to his former boss that “unfortunately it didn’t quite work out” with nine million followers. Raab currently has 2.8 million fans on Instagram. “We’re close,” says the 52-year-old, to which Raab replies: “Close is over too. I’m not doing anything anymore.” His ex-intern then reminds the moderator that there is still “a score” to settle, namely with boxing star Regina Halmich (47): “You have to box against her again,” said Elton.

“I’ve already beaten her up twice,” replies Stefan Raab to Elton’s suggestion. “She’s already beaten you up twice,” Elton clarifies before Raab asks him whether Halmich is available on September 14th. After a short phone call it is clear: the appointment is set. Stefan Raab, who can later be seen in the Instagram video sitting with his stomach in his fishing chair, is then asked by Elton to start training…

Will there really be a show fight on September 14th?

At the end of the video you can see: “The Final Fight September 14, 2024”. Tickets should be available from April 2nd, 3 p.m. By then it will probably be clear whether it was an April Fool’s joke or whether Raab is actually coming back to TV. He initially ended his career in front of the camera in 2015.

Stefan Raab has lost his two previous fights against Regina Halmich. The two exhibition fights took place in 2001 and 2007. Over seven million TV viewers followed each event.
