Stefano Zarrella received the lowest score of the evening on “Let’s Dance” on Friday. That’s what he says about his performance.

Stefano Zarrella (33) and Mariia Maksina (27) had to worry until the end on “Let’s Dance” on Friday evening (March 15th). The two of them actually wanted to dance a soulful slow waltz, but the food influencer’s nervousness got to them. as he explained afterwards in the RTL interview. “I was like a replacement,” said Zarrella.

The two danced almost completely out of sync. The jury only gave it ten points, the worst rating of the evening. “There was no momentum,” said Joachim Llambi (59). Motsi Mabuse (42), who is usually so encouraging, also recognized: “Your nervousness shouldn’t win, and that’s what’s happening right now.”

He couldn’t explain it, said Giovanni Zarrella’s younger brother (46). Because everything worked in rehearsals and training. But in the live show he was “relatively excited and nervous”. Shortly before his performance on Friday, he looked at his father in the audience, then the music started and he was “like he was in the wrong movie.” He immediately noticed “how you can’t get in and then you keep up with the beat.”

New week, new luck, new “Let’s Dance” show

Despite low scores and trepidation, Zarrella and Maksina made it to the next round. He wants to work on his nervousness in the coming week: “It’s a huge challenge for me and I don’t know how I’m going to overcome it yet, but we’ll manage it.”

On Instagram he thanked his fans and callers. “We are very grateful,” he said in a video on the way to the next training session. He is confident that he now wants to enjoy the project and have “more fun.”

Next week it will be live on RTL on Friday evening (March 22nd at 8:15 p.m or on RTL+) under the motto “Italo Night”.
