More than five and a half years after the death of his mother, Stéphane Plaza is still in pain. At the time, the real estate agent, devastated, had dark thoughts, as he revealed on TF1.
“I still have enormous suffering”. The years may pass, Stéphane Plaza’s pain does not diminish. In June 2016, the host lost the woman of his life, his mother, who suffered from cancer of the pleura. Since then, the real estate agent has been living with an impossible mourning that haunts him. More than five years after that terrible night when he helped Christiane to breathe her last breath, the real estate agent is still devastated. “It’s been a long time now, but I still have tremendous pain”, he explained, with tears in his eyes, in 50 minutes inside this Saturday, January 1. If he believed for a long time that he could not continue without the one with whom he lived until the age of 30, things have recently changed. “I recently learned to accept this pain which is there every minute, every second”, he continued.
“There’s not a moment when I wouldn’t like to say to her, ‘Mom, look at what I’ve done …’ It’s confusing me a bit., confided Stéphane Plaza. Still upset by the death of his mother, the apartment or house search host even thought of the worst soon after. “It was complicated for me, because I wanted to punish myself. I didn’t understand, wrongly, why my mother left before me, he remembered, very sincere and moved, on the set of TF1. So I said to myself: ‘Maybe I have to go too to go join my mother. I had bad ideas, dark thoughts, difficult nights. “ It must be said that Stéphane Plaza accompanied his mother until her last breath, as he told Jordan de Luxe a few weeks ago.
Stéphane Plaza: “We are going to make her leave so that she does not suffer”
“I knew she was going to leave. She died in my arms”, had told the real estate agent. To spare his mother further suffering, Stéphane Plaza chose to lie to her. “When you love someone and you say ‘Mom, see you later go to sleep’ but you know she’s not going to wake up because we’re going to kick her out so she won’t suffers … You hold her hand, you know you are not going to see her again, but you have to smile … “, described Stéphane Plaza, for whom it was “the worst moment” for several reasons. “First, you can’t say you’re happy to be there, but it’s important to accompany it. Then you lie to the person you love the most. Then it upsets you afterwards., he said. Corn you have no choice because she doesn’t want to hear things even though she knows it … it’s very complicated. “
