Steven Soderbergh: "Contagion" director is supposed to lead out of the corona crisis

How is work resumed during and after the Corona crisis? This is not just a question for companies, businesses and companies around the world. The multi-billion dollar Hollywood industry is also worried about the future. When and how in the dream factory the cameras can run safely again for everyone involved, according to the US side "Variety" this question should now be investigated by a committee that has been set up specifically.

Director Steven Soderbergh (57) was selected by the Directors Guild of America to lead this challenging and immensely responsible job, according to the report. The filmmaker, who, among other things, shot the haunted pandemic drama "Contagion", was chosen to head the committee.

"A major concern that we hear most now is when we get back to work and how we can make sure it is safe," said Variety, decision-maker Thomas Schlamme (President of the Directors Guild of America) and Russell Hollander (National Executive Director).

Soderbergh and Co. should now carry out a "thorough investigation" of this issue and then make their recommendations. According to Schlamme and Hollander, the committee, which should include other directors who are not named, is already in active contact with several renowned epidemiologists.
