Still Wakes the Deep rises from the depths with gameplay video

1975, off Scotland. The fictional Beira D oil platform awakens, through underwater vibrations, an ancient supernatural threat which takes revenge by striking the workers. Here is the synopsis in a few words. The images do not tell us much more, because Still Wakes the Deep embodies the pure essence of walking simulator anxiety-inducing, with more atmospheric details than action. We therefore follow a worker lost in the middle of a storm, surveying the service gangways fixed on Beira D, before he takes refuge in the bowels of the platform where disturbing howls resonate. Less than the gameplay, it is rather the atmosphere that is in the spotlight here.

That’s it for Halloween. Still Wakes the Deep promises to work in a humid claustrophobic atmosphere facing creatures currently unknown, but very real according to the synopsis, and who have the project of inflicting a cessation of existence on us.

Still Wakes the Deep will be released in early 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. It will be included day one in Game Pass.
