Opera has just upgraded to version 83. On the menu: mainly two more or less useful new features.
They relate to conference videos in pop out and…memes.
Opera 83: make it easier for you to work from home (and memes)
If you use Opera, a new major update is out. Based on Chromium 97, it does not, however, bring a thousand changes and new features, or even fixes.
First, the display pop out conference videos, allowing you to continue to follow a Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams meeting even when changing tabs, is now automatic. Of course, there is an option to prevent this.
Finally, the screenshot tool integrated into Opera now has a dedicated button for memes. As the screenshot in this article shows, it makes it easy to quickly add color stripes and apply text to one’s image to wow the gallery in a snap.
