“Storm of Love” comeback: Fans can look forward to Josie’s return

“Storm of Love” fans can expect a very special surprise: Josie (Lena Conzendorf, 31) unexpectedly returns to the Fürstenhof! As can be seen from the series preview, the actress and her role will be listed in the cast list. Very few viewers should have expected a reunion so quickly, since Josie and Paul’s dream wedding (Sandro Kirtzel, 32) was only a few weeks ago. Usually, the dream couple of the “Storm of Love” season leaves the series shortly after the “happy ending” together – so is the reunion with Josie a bad sign?

Probably not, because Gerry (Johannes Huth, 34) dreams of a wedding with his girlfriend Shirin (Merve Çakir, 29) in the episode, which is expected to be broadcast on Friday, April 14th. So the chance is relatively high that Josie’s appearance is just a dream and she’s not really back at the Fürstenhof. The next few weeks will show what her unexpected return is really all about and whether the hitherto unique appearance might turn out to be something more. But then the obvious question would be what that means for her relationship with Paul.

“Der Bergdoktor” star Hans Sigl argues with critical fans: “I am amazed at this exaggerated identification and the old morality”

“Der Bergdoktor” season 16 will probably be known for all time as by far the most dramatic season of all: the Gruber family is at odds, Martin (Hans Sigl, 53) and Hans (Heiko Ruprecht, 50) don’t speak a word to each other anymore, Hans and Linn (Andrea Gerhard, 39) are separating for the time being, Lilli (Ronja Forcher, 26) has moved out and Lisbeth (Monika Baumgartner, 71) is in a coma. For many fans this is a bit too much drama, other fans don’t understand the whole dispute anyway, after all Hans seems so angry that brother Martin had an affair with his deceased wife and wanted to emigrate with her.

But exactly the latter, namely the planned emigration to New York, should have been known to him since season 1, episode 2, as many a fan has noted with surprise. Did the screenwriters make a mistake? What seemed new for Hans was that the affair between his wife and Martin was not a one-night stand, but a story that dragged on for months.

Either way, the criticism of the season does not subside even after the finale – which encouraged actor Sigl weeks ago to report on Facebook with clear words. “In any case, I’m amazed at this almost exaggerated identification with the characters and the almost old manners of some comments. It not only seems old to me, but sometimes even outdated,” the actor shoots at the critical fan base. About the criticism of the reason for the brother dispute, he writes: “Was it illogical? Or was it just empathetic not to come out with it for so long and then don’t misunderstandings sometimes arise that develop on their own?”

The actor continues, “One could argue about the tension, the idea, or the creativity, but folks… it’s a series, it’s a fiction.” A fiction with real emotions for the fans – which is why it is hardly surprising that Sigl’s comment is still making waves in the media three weeks after publication. Maybe the reconciliation is yet to come – with the release of the possibly less dramatic season 17.
