Viola Wedekind suffered from panic attacks

Viola Wedekind, 43, is one of the most popular characters in “Sturm der Liebe”. And not because the character of the role is so well received, but because the fans are enthusiastic about the talent of the actress. Especially in the last few months Wedekind has proven incredibly authentic performances. Because “Ariane Kalenberg” was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Although this is just an intrigue by her arch enemy Christoph Saalfeld (Dieter Bach, 57), Ariane believes in a life-threatening illness. For Viola Wedekind herself, these scenes of suffering brought back painful memories from her private life.

“I have experienced a lot of misery and suffering,” reveals the 43-year-old in an interview with “Freizeit Spass”. You lost a good friend to cancer. She also accompanied her grandparents to death. The fictional brain tumor of her “Sturm der Liebe” figure therefore preoccupied her a lot. Additionally, the actress suffered from panic attacks for some time after getting back into the job shortly after giving birth to her son. “I had a kind of panic attack on set. I didn’t get a medical diagnosis, but it felt like that. I was short of breath, started shaking and felt overwhelmed,” said Wedekind. The actress then sought help, successfully fighting the attacks. Today she is free from anxiety – something that she owes above all to her husband and son.

While rescuing the cave, the courageous liberator sustained a graze. Shooting pain in the right hand is the bitter result. “Fürstenhof” doctor Dr. Michael Niederbühl (Erich Altenkopf, 52) first provided the injured person with an ointment. But the very next day, Florian panics because he suddenly can’t feel his hand anymore. Further treatment with an antibiotic helps to improve the situation in the short term, but a short time later Florian gets a high fever. When he was still struggling with imbalance and impaired vision, the situation came to a head dramatically.

Another examination by Michael confronts the young forester with a shocking diagnosis: The infection is spreading in his body and apparently cannot be stopped by the usual medication. Will Florian be able to win the fight against time?
