Duchess Meghan (42) showed off her acting skills as she read fairy tales to little patients at the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. During her visit on March 21st, Prince Harry’s wife (39) led a “Literally Healing” session. The clinic published photos of this on Instagram.

“The children laughed and sang as the Duchess took on a different role with each page and read favorite books such as ‘Rosie the Riveter’, ‘Pete the Cat’ and ‘I Saw a Cat’ to her patients,” it said Post Office. Meghan also helped the children with activities related to the respective book.

“People” magazine also reportsMeghan greeted the children as they gathered for storytime, then excitedly pointed to the cover of “Rosie Revere, Engineer” and told the group, “That’s one of my favorite books.”

The mother of two – she has a son, Prince Archie (4), and a daughter, Princess Lilibet (2) with Harry – then read “lively”, accompanying the stories with her voice and gestures. The children shouted out the answers and sang along as Meghan performed “Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons.” “That was a great choice, friends,” she said as she closed the book.

Many celebrities support the hospital

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ Literally Healing is a reading program that donates more than 65,000 books annually to the hospital’s families. The story time was part of “Make March Matter,” the hospital’s annual fundraiser that “brings together celebrities, corporations and the general public in support of the hospital’s mission.”

Since 2016, the campaign has raised more than ten million dollars (the equivalent of around 9.3 million euros) for the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Other celebrities who have visited the children’s hospital to cheer up the sick children include Mark Hamill, Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jake Gyllenhaal.
