The clock has sounded! After several cryptic announcements on the Web, the trailer for Season 4 of Stranger Things is finally here. It took three years to find Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and her friends who have all grown up. Remember, at the end of season 3, the heroine left the fictional town of Hawkins, while Sheriff Hopper (David Harbour), left for dead, found himself locked up in a prison in Russia.

The first images suggest a new chapter even more ambitious than the previous ones. This is also one of the objectives of the creators Matt and Ross Duffer: to offer fans a great show “worthy of game of thrones” for this season 4 which should be the penultimate before the farewell of the series.

Check out the trailer:

In the role of Victor Creel, a new character who seems to be at the heart of the plot, we find Robert Englund, the emblematic Freddy Krueger in the famous horror saga launched by Wes Craven in 1984.

Here is, in a few lines, the plot of this season 4: “Six months after the Battle of Starcourt, which sowed terror in Hawkins, the group of friends is separated for the first time and the problems of high school do not help matters. In these difficult times, a new and terrifying supernatural threat resurfaces, along with a new mystery that, if solved, could end the horrors of the Upside Down..”

To create the event – and make the pleasure last – this season 4 is broadcast in two stages: the first part is available from May 27, while the second arrives on July 1.

Stranger Things is available on Netflix.
