The platform announces the broadcast of the anime event “Kaiju n°8”, to be found exclusively on the platform next spring!
This is surely one of the most anticipated anime of the moment. The adaptation of the manga Kaiju No. 8 by Naoya Matsumoto finally reveals its first images, as well as a launch date and a distribution platform.
And it is no great surprise that Crunchyroll will have the privilege of broadcasting this animated series; a coherent choice, since the streaming giant already offers via its publishing house (formerly Kazé) the nine volumes of the manga currently available in France.
A mix of action and fantasy, Kaiju No. 8 takes place in a fictional world, seeing humanity wage a merciless battle against the Kaijus (name given to giant Japanese monsters, editor’s note).
The main character Kafka Hibino, who failed the Defense Force entrance exam several times, sees his destiny change when a fusion with a monster offers him the possibility of transforming into a Kaiju and deploying extraordinary strength!
During a panel organized at New York Comic-Con, the Crunchyroll platform revealed the premieres of the long-awaited anime, as well as the broadcast date: we will have to wait until next April to discover the series!
