It was in August 1987 that Capcom was released on Street Fighter arcades, a combat game in 1 against 1 laying the foundations of the genre, but which will not necessarily have marked the spirits, unlike its sequel. Still today, Street Fighter II and its derivatives continue to fascinate fans of versus fighting, and the franchise continues.
In 2022, Capcom will therefore celebrate the 35th anniversary of the license Street fighter and he unveils a logo this week, to discover above. As a reminder, the latest opus to date, Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, recently welcomed its last fighter, Luke, which according to the developer will be the link with the next game in the franchise. This future Street fighter should indeed be unveiled this year, and according to the internal calendar of Capcom which leaked, it would be released during the third quarter of fiscal year 2022.
