In the aftermath of the mobilization of this Saturday, March 11, which brought together nearly 1,000,000 people according to the CGT, 368,000 according to the authorities, the unions want to increase the pressure on the government and pursue the demands. At the same time, employees in several sectors continue the renewable strike in which they have been engaged since the beginning of the week. On the rails, in the Paris metro, but also in the air, transport is idling, despite improving day by day. Refinery employees are also very mobilized, and fuel shortages are beginning to be observed. Transport
The RATP, via a press release, announces disrupted traffic “on the RER A and B”.
For the RER A on average 1 train out of 2 should run. The RER B on average 2 out of 3 trains will provide their service. The RATP expects almost normal traffic on the metro, where only one line will be slightly disrupted. For the day of Monday March 13, traffic will be almost normal on the Metro and on line A of the RER. Traffic will be disrupted on line B with an average of 2 out of 3 trains
The renewable strike will continue this Sunday March 12 at the SNCF, even if the situation has improved slightly during the week, whether on the main lines, the TER or the Ile-de-France network. The company warns that traffic will remain “very disrupted” this Sunday and “recommends travelers who can cancel or postpone their trips. »

Air
This Sunday, March 12, should be disrupted locally. The Civil Aviation Department invites companies to reduce their flight schedule by 20%, but only at the airports of Orly, Marseille and Toulouse. An improvement in traffic is expected next week. From Tuesday to Friday, the companies were invited to preventively reduce their flight schedule by 20% at Roissy and 30% at other major French airports.

Fuel
The renewable strike continues in the refineries, and the CGT still claimed Thursday to block fuel shipments, although the sites continue to produce it. Because it touches the heart of the economy, this part of the movement is closely scrutinized, especially since in the fall, a strike at TotalEnergies had paralyzed the country by drying up service stations. The latter are always supplied by stocks spread over the territory, 4.2% of them are in short supply. The oil groups still want to be reassuring, and ensure that these shortages are due to motorists who have come to refuel as a precaution.

Energy
The strike also continues at EDF, and employees manage to lower electricity production by several thousand megawatt hours every day, with no impact on distribution for the moment. The Enedis strikers continue their wild and targeted cuts.
