Bahn is suing against a new strike by the GDL

Deutsche Bahn is taking legal action against the GDL’s new strike. The state-owned company is submitting an urgent application to the Frankfurt Labor Court because the strike is disproportionate, as the railway reports.
Deutsche Bahn has filed a lawsuit against the announced new strike by the train drivers’ union GDL. The company justified its actions by saying that the strike was “groundless” and the “unpredictability of train traffic was unacceptable”. He was referring primarily to the shorter lead time for the strike in freight and passenger transport this time.
