Summer is approaching and the sunglasses season has started. Which model is the right one in 2020? As always, both men and women do nothing wrong with classic aviator glasses. If you still want to bring a little variety into your outfits, these days will go for significantly more extravagant styles.
Straight lines and XXL temples
Straight lines are the winner this year. The so-called flat-top sunglasses are loved by fashion designer Victoria Beckham (46). What distinguishes the trendy models: The top edge of the glasses forms a straight line – reduced and futuristic at the same time. Balmain fashion designer Olivier Rousteing (34) also relies on such a model, but goes one step further. He presents another trend of the season on Instagram: sunglasses with extra-wide temples.
The 1970s are back
The sunglasses radiate pure nostalgia, reminiscent of the 1970s with their angular designs and large lenses. TV presenter Annemarie Carpendale (42) combines the trendy accessory with high-waist shorts and a T-shirt. In contrast to this are the narrow cat-eye sunglasses, which found their way onto our noses last season. In 2020, the models may be a little larger and have a striking frame, as model Stefanie Giesinger (23) shows.
