This Tuesday, July 12, TF1 will broadcast from 9:10 p.m. the first two episodes of the Superman and Loïs series, a new version of the adventures of Loïs and Clark which promises! Zoom on the two main actors.
For several years, the adventures of Superman have continued to appear on the screen, whether it is Lois and Clark, the cult series of the 90s, Smallville, the version of the 2000s more centered on the youth of superheroes, or many film adaptations. In February 2021, the American channel The CW had the idea of bringing Clark Kent back in a new light, more focused on his life as a husband and father of two teenagers. The series, Superman and Lois, already available on the Salto platform for several months, is finally arriving on the small French screen. Thus, this Tuesday evening, on TF1, you will be able to discover this astonishing revisit of the adventures of Clark Kent and Loïs Lane, who leave Metropolis for Smallville with their two sons, Jordan and Jonathan. To embody the emblematic duo of the DC Comics team, the production choice fell on Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch. The 34-year-old actor, revealed in the Teen Wolf series, has been seen in successful productions such as Fifty Shades of Grey, Palm Springs or Everybody wants some. As for her playing partner, it is in the detective and fantastic series Grimm that she made herself known.
Superman and Lois: a very current series
In this new series, Tyler Hoechlin embodies a less smooth Superman than his predecessors. When the series begins, Clark Kent has lost his job and tries somehow to bond with his indifferent sons. A scenario that reflects the United States facing the crisis, where the problem of unemployment is omnipresent.
